Build an AI-native company
Start with a real customer need and give AI employees specific jobs from the beginning.
An AI-native company treats AI employees as part of how work gets done. Humans still decide who the company serves, what it promises, and what risks it accepts.
Start with a problem
Write down the customer, the problem, and the result they would pay for. Describe the evidence you have and what you still need to learn. A clear uncertainty is more useful than an invented answer.
For example: “We help independent property managers respond to maintenance requests. We need to understand which requests take the most staff time.”
Choose a result to improve
Pick a KPI that connects to that problem. For a maintenance service, that might be time from request to a useful first response. Record how you measure it and what counts as a useful response. Set the target yourself.
Build the first useful loop
- Create your workspace and connect the AI employee software.
- Create a first AI employee for a small, real task.
- Connect its tools with the access the task needs.
- Review its work and measure the result.
- Invite people when you need help with decisions or review.
Keep the company simple
Do not create a department of AI employees just to fill out an organization chart. One AI employee producing a useful, verifiable result is a better starting point. Add another when the work has a separate purpose, access requirement, or person responsible for it.
Automatic company planning and creating a fleet of AI employees from KPIs are planned. Today, use New AI employee to build each workflow deliberately.
